Dr. Tom Oliverson, anesthesiologist and conservative Republican candidate for Texas State Representative, District 130, received the endorsement of both Texas Values Action PAC and the United Republicans of Harris County last week.
“I am proud to gain the support of two more stanchly conservative organizations,” said Dr. Oliverson. “I take the interview and questionnaire vetting process for groups that endorse very seriously. It is rewarding to know that my answers and background prove to be the conservative foundation that HD130 needs for the best representation in Austin.”
“Tom Oliverson will be a principled, pro-family conservative in the Texas House. His commitment to fight for religious freedom, marriage between one man and one woman, and innocent human life is the kind of leadership that Texans deserve. With Tom Oliverson in the Texas House, the people of House District 130 will have a strong voice for faith, family, and freedom,” said Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values Action.
United Republicans of Harris County has been a much-recognized part of the Republican Primary with their extensive endorsement process. Their hands on process of interviewing candidates in person and providing them with questionnaires regarding their qualifications makes them unique to the political process. Their Board Members spend hours researching candidates before endorsements are issued in order to provide the voter with the best possible recommendations.
